My Desk Thoughts
Hey, so you know how a lot of us work from home now? My home office has become a really big deal. You really need something comfy and good for you, especially if you sit a lot. I’ve been using this desk, the Fully Jarvis standing desk, for over six months now. I’ve really gotten to know it, the good and the not-so-good. I figured I’d tell you all about it if you’re thinking of getting one.
So, what is it? It’s basically an electric standing desk. It moves up and down by itself. It’s really strong, super smooth, and you can pick out a lot of different parts for it. It’s kind of a fancy, high-quality desk. Mine is huge, like 78 by 30 inches, made of bamboo. It also has a white frame that goes super high or super low, which is great because I have a bunch of screens and other stuff on it.
Okay, so let’s talk money. These desks aren’t super cheap. They can be anywhere from about $600 for a basic one up to over $1500 for a bigger, nicer one like mine. It’s a pretty big chunk of change, but honestly, I think it’s worth it. It’s built really well and actually makes my work life better. Definitely keep an eye out for sales, though! You might snag a good deal.
You know, when people talk about these fancy standing desks, the Uplift V2 always comes up too. It’s another really popular one. Both are pretty similar in many ways. It mostly comes down to little things that might make you pick one over the other. Some people like Uplift more if they want tons of accessories. But if you like how the Jarvis looks and just want something really reliable, it’s still a top choice.
After using this desk for half a year, I can totally say it’s been worth it. It’s changed how I work. Instead of just sitting there all day, I can move around. It’s helped me feel better and get more done. It’s quiet, smooth, super strong, and I could set it up just how I wanted. It’s really a fantastic desk if you’re serious about your home office.
Yes, it costs a bit upfront. But honestly, I feel less tired, my posture is better, and I can focus more. Those daily benefits really make up for the price. If you want a desk that looks good, works perfectly, and will last ages, I really recommend the Fully Jarvis.
Just a heads-up, if you buy something through a link I share, I might get a tiny bit of money from it. Doesn’t cost you extra, though! It just helps me keep sharing stuff. But my thoughts are all my own, based on real experience.
Okay, so after all this time, how’s it holding up? Super stable. Even with all my monitors, it barely wobbles, even when it’s all the way up. It feels as solid as day one. The motor is perfect too. It just glides up and down without any weird noises or problems. And my desk surface – I got the recycled wood one – still looks brand new. No scratches, easy to wipe clean. It’s tough.
So, would I buy it again? Absolutely, without a doubt. It’s been such a good investment for my home office. It’s strong, reliable, and seriously helps with how I feel and how much I get done. It’s a high-quality product that really delivers. Makes those long workdays much easier and healthier.
