Their handles are pretty nice too, especially the Truman, which has a comfy rubber grip, and the Winston, which is heavier and looks fancy. They also make shaving cream, balms, and some other body and hair stuff. They keep their product line pretty simple and focused on quality.
Now, onto Dollar Shave Club, or DSC. They started a year before Harry’s, in 2011. You probably remember their super famous, funny video online? That’s how they got big. Their whole thing was making shaving affordable and easy. Unilever bought them in 2016. Since then, they’ve really grown beyond just razors. They’re more like a full grooming brand for guys now.
DSC does blades a bit differently. Harry’s only has one type, but DSC gives you choices. They have a 2-blade one called “Humble Twin”, a 4-blade “4X”, and a 6-blade “Executive”. So you can pick based on how close you like your shave or if you have sensitive skin. Their razor handles aren’t as fancy as Harry’s; they’re usually lighter plastic and more basic. But DSC makes up for it with tons of other products. They have their famous Shave Butter, hair stuff, even toothpaste and deodorant. They want to be your go-to for *all* your personal care. Plus, their subscription is really flexible. You can change how often you get blades and throw in other products easily.
